Crystal and Spore creates interactive metamedia environments within which the process of cultural creation unfolds. Utilizing spoken word ranging from cultural critique to poetry, live mixed audio and video streams and ritual prayerformance, this 4 man/4woman collective is deeply invested in the process of resacralizing media and empowering education. LadyApples' collaboration with Crystal and Spore began at the first Synergenesis (SF, Nov 2004), when Eve represented alongside Delvin and Sijay on the mic, inserting a voice of the liminal into the space between art and design, language and media, the tech and the plants. The alchemical co-creation continued through Oracle Gatherings' Space Traveller (Seattle, Nov. 2004), In:Vision 3.0 (Robert's Creek BC, June 2005), Shambhala (Nelson BC, Aug 2005), Synergenesis 2 (SF Oct 2005), and Avatar (CoSM NYC, Oct 2005).
